How to Refill Your Lighter

Welcome to our comprehensive guide on how to refill different types of lighters! Whether you have a Sanji lighter or a regular Anime Lighter, we've got you covered. Here's how you can refill each type:

Refilling a Sanji Lighter

Step 1: Gather Materials Make sure you have the following materials ready:

  • A Sanji lighter that needs to be refilled
  • A can of butane gas
  • A small screwdriver or similar tool for removing the fuel inlet valve

Step 2: Prepare the Lighter Hold the Sanji lighter in your hand with the fuel inlet valve facing up. Use the screwdriver or a similar tool to press down and release the fuel inlet valve. This will bleed out any residual gas and ensure that the lighter is completely empty before refilling.

Step 3: Connect Butane Gas Can Take the can of butane gas and hold it upside down. Align the nozzle of the gas can with the fuel inlet valve of the Sanji lighter. Press the butane gas can down firmly onto the fuel inlet valve, making sure the nozzle is properly seated.

Step 4: Refill the Lighter Depress the butane gas can's nozzle and allow the gas to flow into the lighter. Keep the can and lighter connected for about 5-10 seconds to allow the butane gas to fill the lighter's fuel reservoir. Do not overfill, as it may cause leakage or malfunction.

Step 5: Disconnect Butane Gas Can Release the pressure on the butane gas can's nozzle and disconnect it from the fuel inlet valve of the Sanji lighter.

Step 6: Test the Lighter After waiting, you can now test the Sanji lighter. Slide the fuel inlet valve back into its original position and try igniting the lighter. If it sparks and produces a flame, then it has been successfully refilled.

Refilling a Zippo Style Lighter

Step 1: Gather Materials Make sure you have the following materials ready:

  • A Zippo lighter that needs to be refilled
  • Zippo lighter fluid
  • A small screwdriver or similar tool for removing the lighter's insert

Step 2: Prepare the Lighter Hold the Zippo lighter in your hand with the hinge facing up. Use the screwdriver or a similar tool to gently lift the edge of the felt pad at the bottom of the lighter's insert to reveal the cotton wick.

Step 3: Add Zippo Lighter Fluid Take the Zippo lighter fluid and carefully pour it onto the cotton wick, saturating it but avoiding any spillage. Be sure not to overfill the lighter, as it may cause leakage or other issues. A few drops of fluid should be sufficient.

Step 4: Replace Felt Pad Gently press the felt pad back into place over the cotton wick, ensuring that it is properly seated.

Step 5: Wait and Settle Allow the Zippo lighter to sit for a few minutes, allowing the lighter fluid to soak into the cotton wick and saturate it fully.

Step 6: Test the Lighter After waiting, you can now test the Zippo lighter. Flip open the lid, and use the flint wheel to spark a flame. If the wick ignites and produces a steady flame, then the lighter has been successfully refilled.

Step 7: Close the Lid Once you've confirmed that the lighter is working properly, close the lid to extinguish the flame.
